Best Practices
Once Frontdesk is installed, you'll want to take immediate action to ensure your setup is as secure as possible. Following is a set of best practices to help with this.

Change your control panel password.
Navigate to the "Settings" page in the control panel and click "Profile" to change your password.

Never use the demo member pages for your site.
The demo member pages are just examples for you to follow in making your own member pages. Don't link to them or let users access them. Instead, copy the pages and forms you want to use to another location.

Rename the demo site folder on your server.
Again, it's important that visitors not be able to use the forms on the demo site. After you've created your own member pages, change the name of the
/frontdesk/sitefolder so no one can access it.
