Who's behind this site?
Heavy Pacific is a small web development shop located in New York City. I'm , the founder. I started Heavy Pacific (formerly "Illmatic") in 1998 with a simple Perl script that helped webmasters password protect their website.
Two years later, I released Password Administrator, one of the first automated member management systems. Afterwards, I launched Password Robot to help webmasters manage multiple groups of members.
Today I'm happy to introduce Frontdesk, a member manager easy enough for beginners to get up and running quickly and powerful enough for advanced users to set up their membership site exactly how they want.
